An inspiring story of two men with a single mission: to give Indian Basmati farmers the platform they deserve for their top-of-the-line produce and to establish the whole value chain from paddy to plate by building the most advanced & modern rice milling plant.

In 1977, Kawaljit Singh Arora started as a domestic sourcing agent and became the man who built Supple Tek instilling his principles of trust, honesty, and responsibility that now define our core values.

In 2005, Ramneek Singh, an international sourcing agent, joined Mr Kawaljit Singh, pushing the company to explore untapped markets and bring premium Indian Basmati to the world stage. That’s how, in 2008, Supple Tek began a new journey as an International Exporter of Basmati Rice. Together, the two leaders have developed a roadmap for Supple Tek enabling us to become the Largest Indian Basmati Rice Exporter. This also enabled us to launch our flagship Basmati Rice brand – Zeeba.

Our outstanding Y-O-Y growth was rewarded in 2012-13 when we received our first APEDA Gold Trophy, for being the Largest Exporter of Basmati Rice, from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.

Within two years, we achieved our next major milestone. In 2014, we set up our state-of-the-art milling facility in Amritsar, Punjab.

From 2016 to 2022, we’ve maintained our position as the Largest Exporters of Basmati rice.

In 2022, we were officially certified as a 5-Star Export House by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.
